My approach is feminist, anti-oppressive, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I provide a sex-positive and 2SLGBTQ+ affirming space where clients can explore emotions, relationships, and personal challenges with care, steadiness, and compassion.

Land acknowledgement

North Bay and the surrounding areas that I work from sits on the territory of Nipissing First Nation, the territory of the Anishnabek, within lands protected by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850.  I am grateful to be able to live and work on these lands.

 

I recognize that the professions of psychology, psychotherapy, and social work have roots in colonial violence. I understand that I have a responsibility to continuously work to decolonize the practice of psychotherapy and acknowledge the origins of the various healing practices I utilize.
